WHAT IF? |
What if the Bible is correct
And you refuse to believe it?
What
if
there is a Divine Creator
And
you
fail to acknowledge Him?
What
if
there is a Judgement Day
And
you
are not prepared?
What
if
Jesus
is the ONLY Mediator
And
you
have not called upon Him?
The
answer is obvious---
You
will
be
LOST, FOREVER!
What
if
there
is a Heaven of bliss
And
you
acquire it?
What
if
there
is Everlasting torment
And
you
avoid it?
What
if
the
LORD
calls you to Himself
And you accept Him?
What
if
Jesus
says, "Follow Me"
And
you
obey Him?
The
answer
is
sure---
You
will
be
BLESSED,
ETERNALLY! |
Is Death Final? |
It has been said that "the ultimate trip" is death. However, I must disagree. The
trip beyond death is the "ultimate" one! Death is just a door to step through
to enter eternity. It is sad when people believe death is final. Actually, in one sense, it is the beginning of "everlasting existence". It is the crossing-over point. To think a person can escape life (everlasting existence) by death is a myth -- an untruth of most serious consequence! I feel a heavy weight, a burden, on my heart to write this. Every time someone attempts suicide -- thinking they will end their troubles, the need increases for a work such as this! It is the truth that sets people free. Ignorance of the truth (or error in belief) can produce very foolish actions, even fatal deeds (as far as this life is concerned). In at least some situations, the taking of one's own life could be avoided if that person understood the results would be far more terrible than what they are going through at the present! MAXIMAL MAXIMS |
To be ignorant of some things is human: to proclaim those things as unreal or untrue
could be unwise.
To be spiritually blind is one thing: to try to lead others while in that condition
is sad.
Knowledge
of
spiritual
truth,
when
activated,
liberates:
knowledge
of spiritual
error, when followed, binds.
A
person
is
probably
wise
when thought to
be a fool by the ignorant. It is good to be old enough to "know" better, but it is best to be wise enough to "do" better. It is better to know and show (demonstrate) the truth, than to just tell it! How "big" a heart a person has can be measured by the number of "little" unannounced things they voluntarily do for others. |
You will overlook the 'cross', if you're looking to your 'works'. |
Better to be a pleasant peasant than a prideful prince. |
To be smart is commendable: to be a 'smart aleck' is reprehensible. |
It is my desire that you be informed, inspired, blessed, and hopefully even
challenged by my writings! I believe you will be if you read prayerfully! |
From My Heart |
I wrote the words to "An Orphan's Testimony" many years ago. It was written to be
read with a musical background. However, I am posting it here as a poem. It is
not based on an actual account, but originated in my heart and mind! Nevertheless,
the story could be true and the message in it is accurate! |
AN ORPHAN'S TESTIMONY |
I was walkin' down life's highway Just a stumblin' in the dark I was searchin' for somethin' To satisfy my heart When a little boy walked up to me And he said, "Hello Sir You look like you've been cryin' 'Cause your eyes are all a blur" I said, "Hello Sonny Yes, you sure are right For you see my heart is lonely I lost my Son tonight" Then he told me his story The one I'm about to tell to you It's an orphan boy's testimony And it's message is so true It could lead to your salvation, so this I'd like to say "If you're walkin' down life's lonely highway Let Jesus come into your heart today" The boy said, "See that church over on the corner, Mister? That's where I've been tonight My Mom and I had gone to that little church Ever since my Daddy died You see we'd kneel and pray together That someday we'd be by his side But I didn't come with Mom tonight A friend gave me a ride A few days ago Mom went to be with Daddy Over on the other side At first I cried really hard Because it hurt to see her go But do you know, Mister, God gave His only Son for us Because He loves us so And if we'll put our trust in Jesus And live our lives for Him Someday in a land without sorrow We'll be with our loved ones again" Then I knelt down beside him And set him on my knee The teardrops were fallin' So I could hardly see I said, "Little Buddy, will you come to my home, please? Tell me more about Jesus and be a son to me" Then I saw the little fella's face light up quite a lot He responded with a happy voice at the joyous thought "First we'll have to go ask Grandma But I'm sure it'll be alright And do you know, Mister I'd like to meet your wife I'll tell her about Jesus too And the reason you've made me so glad! You see when I first saw you You reminded me of my Dad" |
